I like the action, and the fact that it floats upward when you stop reeling, making it easy to maneuver around logs and grasses that are underwater. You can also use this for making it look like its injured and crippled. That attracts the bass even more.
I have found one that I keep on the back burner for those days when nothing seems to be working. And trust me, you will have those days. It is the rubber crawfish. This bait has brought me bass when none of my favorites were doing anything but wearing me out casting and reeling in. It has saved the day for me many times. So it always keeps a spot in my tackle box.

There are so many lures on the market, you can fish for years and not try them all. But when you find one that works consistently, then you have found the secret to bass fishing with lures.
